Marie is a member of ISOS (Information Systems, Organisation and Society Research Centre) concerned with Information, Technology, People, Organisations and Society to build a sustainable future.
Research interests include gender in the ICT workplace, social networking and exploring emotions in the workplace. Marie has embarked upon a new research study Cybercitizens: Looking at the eroding boundaries between the ‘real’ and ‘virtual’ world, including the consequences of growing up in a technologically saturated environment?
Rachel McLean Academic Fellow, University of Salford, UK
Rachel joined the University of Bolton as a Principal Lecturer in Creative Technologies, Teaching & Learning in 2008 and has served at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School lecturering in business information technology and more recently as acting chair of doctoral programmes).
Rachel was awarded the United Utilities eBusiness Research Studentship at the 6* rated CNTR Salford University for her research in “Consumer Knowledge, Empowerment & The Internet: Critical Research Into The Provision And Use Of eCommerce”
